About Art Mantia

Art Mantia

Artwork has always been a part of my life. I'm an artist with two backgrounds, commercial art, and fine art. For the past 40 years I worked in the commercial field. I made my living as a commercial artist, and maintained the joy of doing abstract fine art on the side. I enjoyed this freedom, and would at times incorporate my ideas for use in some commercial projects. Today in my senior years, I been able to spend 23 years on my fine art. It keeps me thinking, dreaming, visualizing, and growing. I'm a realist, and enjoy being creative. Tropical scenery is my canvas, the ocean, the beach, and people are my subject matter. I use vivid colors, and have done so throughout my life as an artist. It is the common thread in all my work,...
